Nowadays, the quality of the air we breathe has a huge impact on our health, comfort and work efficiency. For this reason, more and more companies and institutions are choosing to monitor air parameters in their offices, residential buildings and other commercial spaces. In response to the growing need to control air quality, we offer precise measurements using advanced Gray-Wolf equipment that allows us to monitor a wide range of air parameters.

Accuracy and precision of measurements

The Gray-Wolf device is a high-quality meter that provides detailed analysis of indoor air quality. It allows precise measurement of chemical concentrations in units of PPM (parts per million) and PPB (parts per billion). PPM is used to measure carbon dioxide (CO2), among other things, while PPB is used when measuring pollutants such as ammonia (NH3). As a result, the device provides accurate information about indoor air quality over a wide range of concentrations.

The device measures the following parameters:

  • CO (carbon monoxide) – monitoring the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air, which is particularly dangerous to health at high concentrations.

(Resolution = 0.1 ppm, range: 0 to 500 ppm, detection threshold: <0.1 ppm)

Unit Resolution Range Detection threshold
PPM 0.1 From 0 to 500 <0.1
PPB 100 From 0 to 500000 <100
  • TVOC (total volatile organic compounds) – identifying the presence of harmful chemicals in the air that can affect health and well-being.

(Resolution = 0.001 ppm, range: 0 to 1 ppm, detection threshold: <0.001 ppm)

(Resolution = 1 ppb, range: 0 to 1000 ppb, detection threshold: <1 ppb)

  • CO2 (carbon dioxide) – measuring the level of carbon dioxide, which in excess can lead to deterioration of indoor air quality.

(Resolution = 1 ppm, range: 0 to 10⁴ ppm, detection threshold: <1 ppm)

(Resolution = 1000 ppb, range: 0 to 10⁷ ppb, detection threshold: <1000 ppb)

Unit Resolution Range Detection threshold
PPM 1 From 0 to 10 <1
PPB 1000 From 0 to 10⁷ <1000
  • O3 (ozone) – measuring the concentration of ozone, which in excess can cause health problems and affect comfort in the room.

(Resolution = 0.01 ppm, range: 0 to 1 ppm, detection threshold: <0.02 ppm)

(Resolution = 10 ppb, range: 0 to 1000 ppb, detection threshold: <20 ppb)

Unit Resolution Range Detection threshold
PPM 0.01 From 0 to 1 <0.02
PPB 10 From 0 to 1000 <20
  • HCHO (formaldehyde) – monitoring the concentration of formaldehyde, which is a toxic substance often present in building materials and furniture.

(Resolution = 0.001 ppm, range: 0 to 1 ppm, detection threshold: <0.01 ppm)

(Resolution = 1 ppb, range: 0 to 1000 ppb, detection threshold: <10 ppb)

Unit Resolution Range Detection threshold
PPM 0.001 From 0 to 1 <0.01
PPB 1 From 0 to 1000 <10
  • NH3 (ammonia) – measuring the level of ammonia in the air, which is particularly important in industrial or agricultural facilities.

(Resolution = 0.1 ppm, range: 0 to 100 ppm, detection threshold: <1 ppm)

(Resolution = 100 ppb, range: 0 to 10⁵ ppb, detection threshold: <1000 ppb)

Unit Resolution Range Detection threshold
PPM 0.1 From 0 to 100 <1
PPB 100 From 0 to 10 <1000
  • PM (particulate matter or airborne dust) – measuring the concentration of fine particles (PM0.5, PM1.0, PM2.5, PM5.0, PM10, TPM), which are particularly dangerous to health, especially the respiratory system.

(Resolution = 0.01 μg/m³, range: 0 to 1,000 μg/m³, detection threshold: <0.01 μg/m³)

  • RH (relative humidity) – monitoring the level of humidity, which affects the comfort and health of the occupants of a room.

(Resolution = 1%, range: 0 to 100%, detection threshold: <1%)

  • Temperature – a measurement of air temperature, which, combined with humidity, is crucial for thermal comfort.

(Resolution = 0.1 °C, range: -10 to 50 °C, detection threshold: <0.1 °C)

  • Pressure – monitoring atmospheric pressure, which also affects comfort and indoor air quality.

(Resolution = 1 mbar, range: 0 to 9999 mbar, detection threshold: <1 mbar)

The measurement can be carried out at intervals chosen by the customer to suit his needs starting from 15 seconds to, for example, 1 hour, and also the measurement time can last up to 24 hours.
