Protect yourself and your loved ones from allergies and other diseases

Thanks to thermal imaging control, with simultaneous humidity measurement, it is possible to indicate whether there may be problems with the formation of fungi and mold. Thermography indicates whether the source of fungi and mold is the way the room is used or errors in the construction or design of external partitions.

Diagnosis of the causes of fungi and mold occurrence

Do you have a problem with a constant cough and allergies? Do you feel cold in the corners of your home? Or maybe damp is already forming on your walls? Find out why a fungus problem can appear before you even notice it.

The term mushrooms (fungi) refers to the entire kingdom of about 1 million different species inhabiting the entire globe. One of the subcategories of fungi is saprophytic fungi, which are fungi that feed on dead organic remains. They are commonly called molds (also because their colonies take the form of multicolored coatings).

How does mold form?

It should be noted that most fungi species are microscopic organisms that are invisible to the human eye, so it is worth assessing the risk of their occurrence with a thermal imaging test, even if they are not yet a visible problem . Fungi are extremely aggressive organisms in terms of their ability to occupy new habitats, especially in closed spaces. Expansion occurs very quickly under favorable environmental conditions ( poor ventilation, high air humidity, high and moderate temperatures ).

The rooms most at risk of mold growth include rooms with the highest humidity/lowest temperature: kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, basements, and other poorly ventilated enclosed spaces. In most cases, mold growth is a manifestation of poor thermal and humidity conditions in the apartment . In each room where mold appears on the walls, a thermal imaging inspection carried out in the TERMOCNET standard is recommended. It happens that the cause of the conditions conducive to mold growth may be far different from the way the premises are used and may lie in construction defects . Hence the TERMOCENT recommendation to mandatory inspect all new premises before purchasing them.

If mould blooms occur, they should be removed immediately, as the presence of excessive amounts of fungal spores in the air can cause allergic, lung and skin diseases!
